On September 14, during an interview with MTV, Psy expressed his concerns for the 15 lifeguards that were fired after they made a parody of ‘Gangnam Style‘.

Last month, the 15 lifegoards created a video called ‘Lifeguard style’, the 15 people used the city’s swimming pool, but used it without the consent from the appropriate people.

During the interview Psy revealed that he wanted to try everything the help the fired lifeguards, psy stated,

“Unfortunately, I’m a rookie here. When I become a big star here, I really want to help them out because that’s not fair. What did they do? They weren’t wrong? I think it was off duty - that’s what I heard. They can be more flexible to each other.”

He continued,

“If you may know me or not, but if you know me and if not sooner you’re going to know me, I’m begging you to not fire please, because they were enjoying their souls with some other cultures and it was even off duty… so please if you know me.”

Sorry for the language but this is just bullsh*t like I mean thats like their only job to pay for tuition and college so why fire them? And from what Ive heard they did the video After work which is acceptable so why fire them thy should’ve got a warning or something but firing is too much, I mean there are a lot YouTube videos out there doing a parody and they don’t get punished from having fun? This is jut my opinion


I hope Psy`s words reach the people who fired the lifegaurds and they change their mind


I truly hope those lifeguards get their job bank as it was not during work time and they did not harm anybody else… The employers need to have a more fair mind about this.


If i was in his position (i wish lol) i would have asked for the same thing
