Psy recently appeared on the September 17th broadcast of KBS’ 2TV’s “Star Life Theatre“. On the show, he reveals his identity and motivation as an artist.

Psy shared the unique concept that he chose to stick with. He said, “While I was promoting ‘Bird’, I presented myself as a unique celebrity who does not look like a typical celebrity; I thought to myself that this was my identity and that I should continue to use this concept.”

He then explains his motivation for his work, “If my concert has 10,000 attendees, then including me, the number amounts to 10,001 attendees. When all the 10,000 people jump together, their facial expressions are priceless. I dance to see their faces light up, and when I look out at the audience, they are all happy. I work hard to see those expressions.”

Glad that Psy chose a unique concept and persevered. His success today is well deserved!
