IU prepares 4th debut anniversary gifts for fans

IU recently reached her 4th debut anniversary, and she prepared cute gifts for her fans!

On September 16’s broadcast of SBS‘ Inkigayo, IU handed out adorably packaged gifts to lucky fans. The packages include a handwritten card, a cactus, two bracelets, a polaroid, and most importantly, a self composed song dedicated to her fans, on a CD. The song is soothing and features cute vocals and lyrics written by the nation’s little sister.

Afterwards, IU also began filming her fans with her phone. Netizens commented, “It’s the first time I’m seeing an artist film their fans rather than the other way around,” along with, “She’s cute whatever she does“, and “She’s so nice.”

IU made her debut on September 18th, 2008, on Mnet’s M!Countdown, and she was only 15 years old. Her title track was “MIA” from her mini album “Lost and Found“. To be able to make it this far, IU is extremely thankful for the people who support her. She tweeted, “4th debut anniversary!! I’ll continue to be a person who knows how to always be thankful! Thank you everyone ♥.”
