Takeru Kobayashi working on a Hot Dog Line

Most of us recognize Takeru Kobayashi as being the best eater known to man. For those that don’t know, he is a competitive eater who has once reigned over Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest. Now, he’s on to bigger and better things - a hot dog brand!

According to the Post-Standard in Syracuse, some investors purchased the Hofmann hot dog brand in May of 2012, hoping to make the brand known nationally.

Kobayashi is part of the investment team, who will be getting his own branded line of Hofmann hot dogs. At the moment, he is busy working on the hot dogs to ensure their perfection.

Also, since the incredible eater was able to chow done 110 hot dogs in 10 minutes at the New York state fair, the taste tests should be over in a flash!

Ummm the idea of eating 110 hots dogs is absolutely revolting to me, but to each his own. Good luck with his company!

hehe that’s funny that he’s creating his own hot dog line , I saw him eat a pizza in 1 minute, very impressive and he is kind of attractive when he’s not eating
