I’m pretty sure that when you saw the title of this article, the first thing that popped into your head was this song. Yes, Mr is definitely the most well-known “butt dance”, but for very good reason. The catchy dance may be super contagious, but it looks much easier than it really is!

Sistar - Alone

While this song is uber sophisticated and chic, it also oozes sexiness with the added butt dance. Their saucy dresses emphasise the up and down motion of the dance, and the long legs that we all wish we had.

Spica - Russian Roulette

Russian Roulette features a very catchy whistling tune, which is further recognized with the side to side rear dance. It may not be the dance that is thought of when the song is mentioned, but it is certainly memorable.

Co-Ed - Too Late

When we hear Too Late, we immediately think of tapping wrists with invisible watches, a ticking tune and, of course, the synchronized bum swinging that accompanies the repeated “oh’s” of the melody. Sometimes, a move like this is the only move that we remember!

Hyuna may have a cute, whiny personality, but when she hits the stage, her sexy persona takes over. For Bubble Pop, she showed how she pops bubbles: with her bottom! With every “pop” in the tune, she does her popping motion. This butt dance has got to be the most, uh, seductive of the lot and is probably most popular with the guys.

JJ Project - Bounce

Head banging and multiple genres are what make JJ Project popular, apart from their obvious good looks. However, their aegyo-filled bum shakes when they sing “shake it and shake it for me” have become the real trend. The expression is the key, too!

T-ara - Bo Peep Bo Peep

The cat-like hand movement of Bo Peep has always been popular and well-known, but the move that always got audiences the most excited was what I like to call “The Revolving Butt”. As they go around in circles, they bop up and down to both Bo and Peep!
