tvN’s “Reply 1997” may have come to an end on September 18th, but it looks like the producers are considering a second season for the drama!

The producers, Shin Won Ho and Lee Myung Han have revealed that there are no solid plans yet, but there is certainly a discussion for a second season. Although, if there is a second season, there’s no telling if it will take place in 1997 or another time.

Lee Myung Han commented, “We’ve been thinking quite a lot about a second season of ‘Reply 1997′. Before ‘Reply 1997′ was even created, there were thoughts on a different plot, so it should not be too difficult. We are thinking about producing the second season next year.”

PD Shin Won Ho added, “While I’m not sure what direction the second season will go, we have been in deep discussion with writer Lee Woo Jung. But this does not mean we’re going to just make a new drama without much though. Creating a new show that does not live up to the first season could instead harm the popularity of the first season. I understand that fans and viewers do not want this either.

He concluded, “We hope to come back with a second season that has a concept that can capture the popularity of the first season.”

idk about season two. I think season one ended really good and its actually an end. (well from what i read) idk...well i should go watch season 1 right now hehe
