tvN’s “Reply 1997” has come to an end, but INFINITE’s Hoya and A Pink’s Eunji reunited as guests on the September 24th episode of YTN’s “News 12 - Issue and People“. During the show, Hoya talked his decision to drop out of high school and how he does not regret making that decision.

During the segment, Hoya was asked “How was it wearing a high school uniform again for the drama?”

Hoya responded, “I’m happy for being able to wear a school uniform for a long time filming for the drama. Truthfully, I do not regret dropping out of high school when I was a freshman. I decided it to chase my dream. However, I still felt sad about it. Wearing a school uniform and meeting great friends in the drama made me really happy.”

He continued to explain that after he dropped out, he went on a number of auditions and finally ended up with Woollim Entertainment, which is where he is now with INFINITE.

Most people regret dropping out, but he doesn’t. It must be hard for him to wear a school uniform again


It’s good he doesn’t regret it, but he should finish his education.

I hope he finshes his education eventually, or he could just make a lot of money like Bill Gates who didn’t complete his education either.
