SHINee’s Onew and Taemin, along with CNBLUE’s Jonghyun recently appeared on MBC’s Radio Star. In the show, they discussed the expensive gifts they bought to repay their parents.

The MCs wanted to know what they bought for their parents after becoming idols. Taemin first revealed, “I bought my parents a car and a house. The car is a foreign car and the house is located in Cheongdam-dong.” Cheongdam-dong is an extremely upscale district located in Gangnam (Gangnam Style!), filled with high end stores and nicknamed “Rodeo Street”.

Onew shared, “I gave them everything. I gave them all the money I earn. They bought a car, and I’m preparing a house for them.”

Jonghyun revealed, “I also bought them a house. I wanted to earn more money so I could buy them a house in Seoul, but they couldn’t leave living near the ocean. I bought them a house in Busan.”
