SHINee’s Onew recently appeared on MBC’s Radio Star with band mate Taemin and CNBLUE’s Jonghyun. Onew can forgive women who cheat on him…up to three times that is.

On this episode, the idols discussed their likes and dislikes in women. Onew revealed that his ideal type is Lee Nayoung, and that he is a big fan of aegyo! When the MCs asked what he wouldn’t be able to tolerate in a woman, he shared, “If my girlfriend had aegyo, I would be able to tolerate anything.”

Jonghyun and Taemin then shared their pet peeves in women. Taemin revealed that although he doesn’t dislike aegyo, he does not like it if women use it to their advantage. He said, “I can’t allow someone who has no sense of responsibility. I don’t like women who just use aegyo and ask to let the issue go.”

Jonghyun shared that “I can’t allow cheating, I could never forgive someone for that.” in which Onew responded with, “Wouldn’t you let it go if she did aegyo? You have to set some limits. I can accept cheating up to 3 times”, which shocked everyone on set.

The MCs tried their best to find one trait that Onew hates. He apparently can accept smoking too! “I’d think about it a bit, but I think it’ll be okay,” when they asked about women smoking.

“How about if she smoke cigars, or a pipe?”, they continued. Onew responded with, “I don’t like the pipe”, making everyone laugh.

Onew, even one time is too much! Pick another girl with aegyo, for goodness’ sake! However, this dork is so sweet. What do you think of Onew’s great tolerance?

No Onew. One time is already one too many


Jeez Onew that’s WAY TOLERANT. Who would want to cheat on him anyway?!


Onew is just so cute and sweet! He’s got a really good heart! Cheating 1 time is bad enough, but 3 times is just ridiculous. Besides, WHY would you cheat on Onew? It would make no sense!!!
