Hwayobi’s comments about Teen Top’s performance on ‘Immortal Song 2‘ are catching a lot of attention.

Teen Top performed a bright and cheery cover of Yoon Hyung Joo’s ‘Flower Shop Girl‘, but Hwayobi wasn’t convinced by their performance saying, “‘Immortal Song’ is a serious place. I’m thinking [that they] should approach it with a more sincere attitude.”

She continued saying, “Even though they are idols, rather than just being cute and fresh, they should be more serious. If it was me, I wouldn’t have given a flower. It’s too cliche. I want to scold TEEN TOP.”

However, the previous record set by Jung Sung Ha, vocalist of Boohwal, was broken by the performance of Teen Top, which made Hwayobi say, “Forget everything I said. What do I do,” making everyone in the studio laugh.

When the idol group entered the studio, Hwayobi asked, “Why are your expressions like that? What have you heard and from where?”

Lol..I don’t know what to think about this. It’s a good thing that she’s giving advice as a sunbae, but then she changes so quickly…


But all the Teen Top members are cute and fresh

She should be more careful about her comments.  After watching a couple of episodes of Immortal Songs 2, I don’t get the feeling it’s “serious” it only remembers the great singers before the idol generation.  At least that is what I think.

Also, just because they performed it brightly and cheery, it doesn’t mean that they weren’t being sincere.  It was their own interpretation of that song.

well I agree, she is way more experienced in this industry and shes just giving some good advice… and you mean Jung Dong Ha? not jung sung ha ==;; it is a little surprising how an idol beat him though… but oh well, guess everyone has their own opinions ~~ c:
