Big Bang’s Taeyang recently made an appearance on Naver’s “GD Friends Live“, and pleased fans by announcing that he is currently working on his upcoming solo album.

His agency, YG Entertainment, confirmed this by saying, “It’s too early to add details or to even talk about it, but we are seriously working on it with him”.

“I came again on this show today. I’ve been intervening a bit during GD’s activities so that people might wonder if I have nothing to do. To be honest, I’m really busy right now because I’m currently working on my solo album”, Taeyang stated.

His agency then added, “Right now, Big Bang is busy in holding their world tour, so they would usually be abroad. Not only Taeyang, but Big Bang is constantly working on their next album.

It was then confirmed that his album will not be released before December of this year, so we’ll have to wait for a few more months.

Yeah, Solo Album! The rest of Big Bang needs solo albums too!!!


I wouldn’t say he’s following in GD’s footsteps… Taeyang has released solo albums before. I’m excited, nonetheless!
