miss A’s Suzy shares her hometown stories on Invincible Youth 2

miss A’s Suzy returns to her hometown and shares memories from when she was a trainee.

On the most recent episode of KBS‘ Invincible Youth 2, the show hosted a “My Heart’s Hometown” theme, in celebration of Chuseok. The show brought all the cast members back to their hometowns to visit their families and relive their memories.

Suzy went with cast member Boom back to her hometown, Gwangju. Boom asked her how she felt during her training period, having to travel back and forth from Gwangju to Seoul.

She shared, “I thought that I should try my best. Many of the trainees lived in Seoul and because I came from Gwangju, I could only practice during the weekend. I didn’t even sleep because the time was too precious.”

Boom then asked, “How did your family respond when you went to visit after Miss A’s debut?” Suzy answered with a lump in her throat. She said, “My mom cries every day. She still does.”

Suzy’s mom must’ve endured a lot watching her daughter work so hard to achieve her dreams. I hope they had a happy Chuseok together!
