Psy To Perform In Seoul Plaza On Thursday Regardless of Billboard Hot 100 Chart Outcome

Psy is planning a concert in front of Seoul City Hall (Seoul Plaza) for Thursday, October 4th…will we be seeing him dancing shirtless to “Gangnam Style” too?!

Last week, Psy promised to perform “Gangnam Style” shirtless if the song reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 Chart. The song currently sits at No. 2 and at his free concert on Tuesday, October 2nd, he revealed that he plans to perform on the 4th regardless of the outcome as a thank you to his fans.

He told fans, “The Billboard chart will be updated on October 4th. I could make first place or I could go down in numbers, but that doesn’t matter. I am here in Korea to greet my fans that have always supported me. Everyone come out to the town hall on October 4th.”

He continued, “I may or may not take my shirt off, but I will definitely perform for you.”

Awww so sweet of him to plan a concert no matter what the outcome of the chart is. I really hope he claims the No. 1 spot though.

Unfortunately, as of October 1st, Billboard’s PSY Watch says it does not expect to see Psy climbing to the No. 1 spot this week as Maroon 5’s “One More Night” is still doing incredibly well.
