We all know that many KPOP idols own pets, but what are the signs that they might actually be the biggest dog lovers (because well, hardly any idols have cats)?

1. Putting their dog in their own music video

When G-Dragon’s music video for ‘Breathe’ came out, his Shar pei, Gaho, made a special appearance for a few seconds. Even though it was only a short time, Gaho has been gaining popularity ever since. What better way to show your love for pets to the world than to put your dog in your own music video?

2. They perform on stage with a dog

FT Island’s Lee Hongki is quite well known for playing “Jeremy” in the hit drama, “You’re Beautiful”. At one of FT Island’s concerts, he decides to bring his co-star dog from the drama, Jolie, on stage with him. While singing, he acts like his character ‘Jeremy’ and shows his affection for Jolie. Even though Jolie didn’t seem to really enjoy it, Hongki’s bond with her is surely present.

3. Half the pictures they tweet are of their dog(s)

Brothers Kim Hyung Jun and Kim Kibum have many things in common, from the voices to their faces. One thing they both have is their undying love for their fuzzy brown poodle, Choco. One way the brothers show love for Choco is by posting countless photos of her on social networking sites such as Twitter. We of course, don’t mind seeing them at all.

4. Videos of their pets are uploaded on their official YouTube channel

Somehow, in the midst of the Hallyu wave, two videos of SHINee’s Jonghyun’s dog Roo were uploaded on SM Entertainment’s official YouTube channel. Fans get a treat seeing Jjong interacting with Roo lovingly. To this day, I’m still not sure why those videos are uploaded there, but the fact that they are shows Jonghyun’s close relationship with Roo.

Now if you think about it, there are many more KPOP idols who love or even own dogs.
