On September 25th, FT Island visited a Malaysian burn victim, who found her strenght to go on by listening to FT Island songs.

Tan Hui Linn, is a Malaysian girl who suffered from third degree burns, in 2009 her father who suffered from mental illnesses poured acid on her and her mother. Sadly her mother passed away because of this, Tan Hui Linn was left with third degree burns over her face and body, she also lost her vision on her right eye. she fought through her treatment by listening to FT Island songs.

When FT Island heard this, they decided to visit her stating that they wanted to give all the support they could.

Let’s hope for the recovery of Tan Hui Linn, and that she can keep finding her strenght in the FT Island songs!

How sad for the girl!  I hope the dad got locked in a mental institute.  Good for FT Island for visiting her.


I’m glad she’s feeling better now. I always listen to KPOP when I need cheering up, but I didn’t need it as badly as she did. This girl is STRONG.
