As a part of Ningin’s 2012 Week of the Living KPOP Dead Special, we present to you 11 idols that are most prepared to fight zombies! In the KPOP universe, personality is a very important factor in determining an idol’s popularity. Some are outgoing and hilarious, others can be reserved and timid, and some use aegyo. However, there’s always those few idols that are brave, fierce, strong, determined or all of the above- those that are most prepared to fight for their lives.

1. TVXQ!

As a duo, Yunho and Changmin have overcame so many obstacles in their careers. Since even before their debut, Yunho developed an illness that causes hormones to be trapped in his tonsils, resulting in a bump on his neck. Even then, he persevered in achieving his dream to become a passionate singer. After the departure of JYJ, both Yunho and Changmin were emotionally torn when their future seemed unclear. Yet they were determined to get through, and became better performers. I believe that they are strong enough to endure anything; even in a world filled with zombies, they will be determined enough to fight and survive.

2.) f(x)’s Luna

This girl just kicks butt, seriously. She is very athletic and muscular; SHINee’s Onew once made fun of her “horse thighs” on a variety show. Being very well rounded idol, she’s active not only with f(x), but also solo with acting. She’s the strongest vocalist in her group, in charge of executing the belting parts and high notes, while also great at dancing-sometimes I can’t decide whether she or Victoria dances better. Plus, she’s always optimistic and always smiling. She can do anything. She can definitely kick some zombie butt.

3.) 2NE1’s CL

Being the fierce leader of 2NE1, there’s really no need to say more! Powerful and talented, there’s nothing this girl can’t do. In the behind the scenes footage of the group filming the MV for “Ugly”, CL was the only member who wasn’t afraid to approach the live wire, which demonstrates her bravery and courage- traits that are crucial to fighting zombies.

4.) Super Junior’s Sungmin

When Sungmin is mentioned, fans may automatically think of the words “pink”, “bunny”, and “aegyo king”, things that all define him in one way or another. Sungmin may be perceived by some as feminine, but he is definitely not weak! Sungmin is actually very experienced in martial arts, and he’s got a muscular body. Nothing’s better when fighting with zombies than to be physically prepared for combat, right?

5.) U-KISS‘ Soohyun

U-Kiss revealed in an interview that their leader would be the one member that would survive in a horror movie. Kevin gave the reasons that Soohyun has a strong body, he is not afraid of anything, and if stabbed, he would pull the knife out of himself and stab someone else instead. Seems like Soohyun has all the traits that one would need to fight zombies!

6.) SHINee’s Minho

Everyone knows that Minho may just be the most competitive person ever. He frequently sets new records for the Idol Star Olympic competitions, and when he finds that he isn’t as skilled as someone else on something, he will strive to improve. Being athletic and strong willed, he will definitely try to protect everyone else while fighting as hard as he can.

7.) miss A’s Jia

Jia is the talented dancer from miss A! Skilled in break dancing and being very flexible, Jia can probably fight zombies and still manage to make it look cool, as if she’s dancing. Jia has a strong personality and is not afraid to speak up when she wants to express her opinions. Such personality traits, paired with her athletic ability, makes her an awesome zombie fighter.

8.) Super Junior’s Kyuhyun

The evil maknae is not only known for being playfully evil, but also having an obsession with Starcraft! After years of experience with gaming and strategy, Kyuhyun absolutely has the intelligence to develop a plan that can not only utilize everyone’s strengths, but also successfully destroying every enemy zombie in sight!

All idols have such a determination to follow their dreams, going through years and years of training, that any of them probably are able to handle anything, and these are only a few of them! Who else do you think are prepared to fight zombies?
