FT Island’s drummer, Minhwan will be making his debut as a musical actor through the musical “Gwanghwamun Younga” as the musical heads to Japan.

For the musical, Minhwan will be taking on the lead role of the bright and considerate musical director, Ji Yong. Minhwan commented, “I’m nervous to stand on stage as a musical actor because Iwas always behind the members as a drummer. The musical will open in Japan and I will do my best like a pro.”

The musical will run in Osaka from November 10th-December 2nd and in Tokyo from January 1st-27th.

Other idols that have appeared in the musical include TVXQ’s Yunho, MBLAQ’s Seungho and G.O., Supernova’s Sungjae and ZE:A’s Kevin.
