Red & Blue Entertainment is claiming that Jay Park and his agency, Sidus HQ have broken their overseas performance contract, and have filed a lawsuit against them for damages.

Red & Blue Entertainment stated that Jay Park was supposed to perform at a “concert to cheer up Korean immigrants in Australia;” the profits of which would be donated for scholarship money for international students. However, the company claims Jay Park and Sidus HQ “broke the overseas performance contract on their end.” As a result, the company decided to file a damage claim suit with the Seoul Central District Court for the amount of 110,000,000 KRW (approximately $100,000 USD). However, they will be assessing the damages in more detail soon and they claim the amount will likely increase.

Sidus HQ commented, “It’s true that we were in the process of writing a contract with the concert agency. But there were problems before the contract was fully signed, and we told them that he would not be able to perform. The claim that we broke the contract from only on our side is illogical. …We haven’t received the accusations yet, so we will be discussing details of our response after we confirm the contents of the claim.
