Halloween is almost here, which means THE ZOMBIES ARE COMING!!!!!!!!!!!! If you want to avoid the zombie invasion, then keep them away with these 8 extremely happy KPOP MVs.
Rainbow Pixie’s “Hoi Hoi”
To start, you can try with something upbeat tempo with a little spunk like “Hoi Hoi”, and who better to chase the zombies away than a trio of fairies…Rainbow Pixies (Rainbow’s subunit)! Not only that, there’s so much pink and girly-ness that the zombies will just want to run the opposite way.
AS Blue’s “Wonder Boy”
If the spunky fairies of Rainbow Pixies, don’t scare off the zombies then how about we up the sweetness with After School’s subunit, AS Blue and their cute song “Wonder Boy”. The girls turn up the cute and innocent factor in a sea of light blue and white, zombies will find the song way too happy to even get close to it.
Secret’s “Starlight Moonlight ”
Ok so…the zombies are still coming? Well then let’s slow it down with the adorable and cutesy Secret song “Starlight Moonlight”. The girls drift off into their dream world for this MV and are so happy that they’re literally floating away in a hot air balloon. I don’t think anything can snap them out of their cheerful mood, not even zombies! Not only that, the girls look like angels in their white dresses for a good chunk of the MV, the zombies might think if they get too close they’ll be purified!
Boyfriend’s “Boyfriend”
So maybe the girls’ cute and innocent factors aren’t working right now? So why not try Boyfriend’s “Boyfriend” where the guys beg girls to be their boyfriend and turn up the aegyo! It’s cute, it’s adorable, it’s happy and…zombies are going to hate it. ^^
Alright if the first four suggestions didn’t work out, then the next four are practically guaranteed Zombie-Repellers!
SNSD’s “Gee”
First up for the guaranteed zombie repeller MVs is SNSD’s “Gee”. When it comes to extremely happy and upbeat music videos, this is the very first one that comes to mind. This is just one of those songs that can instantly turn a frown upside down just by watching it, plus you have the members of SNSD smiling and dancing in their pastel rainbow shorts. Their bright smiles combined with the happy and cute song should be enough to repel the zombies.
IU’s “Marshmallow”
The next guaranteed zombie-repeller MV is IU’s “Marshmallow”. This incredibly happy song about a 17-year-old girl’s crush, IU’s bright smile, and the GIANT marshmallow should immediately chase away the zombies.
Super Junior H’s “Pajama Party”
Super Junior H’s “Pajama Party” already confuses the scary monsters at night, so I think it will successfully confuse the zombies too. This light-hearted song does exactly what Super Junior’s subunit, Super Junior H set out to do…make everyone smile…the best weapon against zombies! Besides…the zombies might actually mistake Sungmin for an angel when he’s wearing his angel wings.
TVXQ’s “Balloons”
Last, we have TVXQ’s “Balloons”, which calls for instant happiness! This song will have a smile on your face in no time, if not from the song then probably from the MV where the guys are wearing animal costumes and probably using an entire month’s worth of aegyo in one video!
Well that’s 8 extremely happy MVs that will keep away the zombies this Halloween season. What are some other ones that you can think of?
