Super Junior’s Leeteuk just began his 2 year mandatory military service, leaving behind his group and his busy schedules. Having been an active MC before his enlistment, he bid farewell to many variety shows, one being SBS‘ Strong Heart. Strong Heart revealed that approximately 40 idols are auditioning to fill Leeteuk’s spot on the show.
A representative shared, “There’s an active search to fill Leeteuk’s vacant spot. We’re thinking of idol members with various charms that also have variety skills.” Using the “variety intern” strategy, they plan to let auditionees film for the show and choosing those who garnered good feedback from the staff and public.
The representative continued, “There are 30 to 40 idols who are actively trying out for the spot. We haven’t filmed anything yet, but there will be something set up where they can battle for Leeteuk’s vacant spot, and that will also be aired on the show.”
The entertainment industry is so competitive; one leaves, and many others hurry to fill their spots. That is why many entertainers worry about their futures after returning from the army, fearing that they have been replaced and forgotten. Any thoughts?
