The nominees for the 55th Grammy Awards are out, but Psy’s “Gangnam Style” was not one of them.

The nominations were announced on December 5th, and many fans were hoping to see “Gangnam Style” among the nominees for “Song of the Year” after it achieved many titles such as Most Viewed Video of All Time On YouTube, #2 on Billboard’s Hot 100 for 7 straight weeks, and much much more. They also hoped to see him in the Best New Artists category, but thought he might be ineligible since he’s been in the business for quite some time in South Korea with a number of releases.

Sadly he didn’t receive any nominations… Were you hoping to see Psy among the list of nominees for the Grammy Awards?

Aw, I was kind of hoping they would see the effect this song had on everyone.


while i am sad, i think there were way better songs this then his, never got number 1 on billboards.  so i am not surprise.
