Jo Hyun Gil, producer of ‘IRIS‘ and ‘Athena‘ has been found dead in Seoul ’s Gangnam Cheongdam-dong.

Jo Hyun Gil was 48 years old and participated as a producer in famous drama’s such as ‘IRIS’, ‘Athena’, but also movies such as ‘71 Into the Fire‘, ‘Wet Dreams‘ and the ‘Marrying the Maffia‘ series.

His body was found on January 2nd shortly after 9:00AM in a car that was found on the parking lot of a restaurant he owned. The police determined that the cause of dead was due to hypothermia, most likely because he stayed in the car for too long in extremely cold weather.
