The House of Blues was a sold out event. A sea of Asians lined up outside the venue for what was expected to be one rocking good time on Saturday night. And surely it was. It was my first time doing the whole press access sha-bang, so I didn’t know what to expect, what I’ll do is I’ll give you a concert experience from a fresh, new, perspective. On the get go, I didn’t have to wait in any lines and I was free to roam around anywhere before the show started. Checking in with my ID was really the only gripe , and required further authentication from the Admin here, but I suppose due to the name of the venue its fair. More »

BoA’s oldest brother Kwon Soon Hwon (권순훤) got married on Saturday May 9, in Korea. Lately, due to BoA’s impossibly strenuous schedule, she has not been able to visit her homeland very often. On Cyworld; which is basically the equivalent to the US Myspace or Facebook, newcomers After School locked in the Rookie of the Month title. After School, if you are unfamiliar with them, are a pop dance group produced by Pledis Entertainment, best known for Son Dam Bi. They’re led by one of BoA’s sr. dancers named Park Ji Young (Stagename: Park Kahi). The rest of the lineup includes 5 other girls, Kim Jung Ha, Beka, Lee Joo Yeon, Yoo So Yeong, and Uee. Ava Lee (Lee Jung Hyun) has just updated us on her Facebook with new details and covers about her mini album. Her new image is sizzling. It’s like a cross between moulin rouge and geisha. After a successful run acting in K-drama’s, Korean actress, Lee Jung Hyun returns to her singing roots. Before LJH became an actress she spent her career as a techno dance singer, she helped lay the groundwork to popular singers today such as Son Dam Bi. Because of the revival of this upbeat genre, the queen of techno is ripe to return! (Whether she has some techno to display for her new mini album is not yet known) .This time, her name will be changed to AVA, as well as re filming one of her older Music Videos entitled “Crazy”.
