We’ve been severely underestimating our giveaways’ popularity. This third test of Mixr Legions doesn’t add or change too many features, however, there are many changes in how I’ve organized the teams. First off, there’s 12 teams of six instead of five teams of 11. I’m curious to see how more teams will fare. Secondly, every member of a team is in the same timezone or same region of the world - Northeast United States, Northern California, Southern California, Middle America, Australia, Philippines, Malaysia, etc. Well, most of the teams follow this convention as the signups does not allow me to get everyone of the same region into a team. Thirdly, there’s two Legion Generals instead of one so you don’t need to be so reliant on one general. Lastly, I’m allowing for substitutions in case people go inactive. Interesting huh? Here we go again Ninginers! Mixr Legions Test #3. Let’s go, sign-up! Those new to Ningin, this is an especially great way to learn the ins and outs of Ningin. It’s also a great way to make friends and connect with other KPOP-loving members. A fun thing that I forgot to do for the Mixr Legions Test #2 winners post is figure out who the top scorers are in Mixr Legions. When I say top scorers, I mean individual contributions like Mystery Box, Voices, Blog Games, and similar stuff. Doing the math, General lytoe of Team Lychee is first, followed by General yayitsmercy of Team Red Bean. Looking at this list, it’s interesting to see that Red Bean did pretty well with only 4 users on this list while both Lychee and Coconut had 6 people. The second test for Mixr Legions ended yesterday. Team Lychee, lead by General lytoe, ran away with first place finishing with 1740 points, nearly 600 more than second place Red Bean. This is amazing considering about 10 days ago, Red Bean actually had a small lead over Lychee. Coconut almost played the role of spoiler having nearly took second on the last day of testing. Alas, Red Bean made a big push and won most of the battleground sites on the final day of testing and held second by a slim 40 point margin. Here’s the final standings: More »

Those new to Ningin should know that the KPOP Idol Off is one of the biggest events we have here. It’s where fans of Super Junior, SNSD, Big Bang, SHINee, 2NE1, 2PM, MBLAQ, Beast, JYJ, and more favorite idols compete through their fans in a series of flash game matches to become the #1 KPOP Idol on the planet! It looks like Team Lychee is going to walk away with a sweet victory in Mixr Legions. They have a 500+ point lead over second place Team Red Bean. While first place is all but locked, second place is going to come down to the wire. Red Bean only has a slim 1074-1024 lead over Coconut. The March Ningin Wallpaper submissions had more entries along with more entries being of a higher quality. I really struggled to pick only 5 top submissions, spending a lot of time figuring who to award the final spot. In general, I looked for polish-ness and strong art direction - or how well your design elements mesh together. It helps a lot if your designs are free of distorted images. When February first started, we maybe had about 5k Facebook fans. About three weeks later, we’re celebrating our one hundred thousandth fan on Facebook! That just blows us away. All the pending registrations from the past few days have been activated. It seems that those using Yahoo and Hotmail always have our activation email go to the spam folder. This is probably due to our email server address changing when we switched to a new hosting company. We’ll know for sure soon enough. Due to the tremendous growth that Ningin has been experiencing this past month, we’ve had to move to a new hosting company that gave us more room to grow. That process was completed sometime yesterday and for most of you there has been little or no interruption to your Ningin access.
