This was one of the more intense matches in recent history. I think making it last one day adds an extra sense of urgency. When I created this Even vs Odd concept, I thought we would have a fairly balanced set of teams considering that mathematically speaking the chances of you being born in an even or odd year is 50/50. For this match the ratio was 1 even player for every 2 odd player. Being captain of the even team, I felt like King Leonidas leading his 300 men against the God-king Xerxes. Well, history has King Leonidas losing the battle, but Greece won the war! This match wasn’t quite like that, but Team Even did make an upset victory winning 6-3. Read on for the details: More »

I’m finding out some interesting things about Ninginers. A lot of you guys were born in 1993. Unfortunately that makes the teams a little bit unbalanced. It’s ok people of Team Even, it would make our win even more epic…should we win of course. Again, two very valuable pins at stake, the Sooyoung and the Taeyeon pin. Plus the winning team gets a big jump on next week’s prize, Run Devil Run posters. Remember this a one day match. Good luck to all! More »

Along with DBSK, it seems that Ningin has a lot of SNSD fans. Since we’re always aiming to please, we’re going to do a special SNSD One-day Mixr League Gaming match this Saturday, 3/27. The concept will be Even Vs. Odd, or rather, anyone born in an odd year versus anyone born in an even year. All contestants will get EXP and SNSD Fan points in addition to SNSD pins for the winners. Then next week, we’ll be giving out Run Devil Run posters as weekly prizes! In case you’re wondering, this matched was inspired by SNSD’s cheerleader numbers. More »

In war, it’s often the victors that gets to write the narrative. Since I was captain of the Mixr Users team, history is how I see it. What I saw was…total domination by Mixr Users!! From the beginning, it never seemed like Mixr Bloggers had much of a chance, but people expected a much closer battle instead of the 7-2 final outcome. One of those points on the Mixr Blogger team, by the way, came from a Mixr User not playing. Let’s get to the breakdowns: More »

Is the pen mightier than the sword? Or to be specific, are Mixr bloggers stronger than Mixr users when it comes to MLG matches? One way to find out is to pit them against each other in a 1-day MLG match this Saturday, Jan. 30. As team captain of the Mixr blogger team, it’ll be interesting to go against our very own users…with Hoc as team captain of the Mixr user team. More »

The official results of yesterday’s 1-day Battle of the Sexes match are in! To recap the event, the match pitted a team of 9 Mixr guys and a team 9 Mixr girls in competing against each other in a 1-day battle of…flash games. You better believe it was an intense match. For such an intense match, there’s only room for one (dominant) sex to take on the winning title. As team captain of the girl’s team I am proud to say, “We are women hear us roar!” More »

They say girls are made of sugar and spice and everything nice and boys are made of snips, snails and puppy dog tails. In the world of Mixr League Gaming (MLG), such is not the case. MLG players are made of quick wits, intelligence and superior flash game playing skills. Some are made of these things more than others. This Saturday, Jan. 16, the MLG will host it’s first 1-day Battle of the Sexes Match to find out what our players are really made of. More »
