With heels on, I’m a good 6′2″ and typically not much of a man magnet. (Flat heels, now that’s a different story!) For R and B songstress Erika David, that is enough reason to sing. Well, not entirely, but her debut single and music video out is called “My Heels.” Apparently, wearing heels works for Erika. Move over Amy Winehouse, Duffy and Adele. Allow me to introduce to you, Germany’s Jennifer Kae. At 20 years old, this girl’s got a huge voice that packs a whole lot of soul into a small frame. While she primarily sings in English, there isn’t much background on her that isn’t in German. Basically, she was born to Filipino immigrants in Germany, ended up on a German idol show and was contacted by Tokio Hotel’s producer to make an album. The result was a very pop, but soulful sounding Jennifer Kae. If you like a lot of 60s inspired pop music a la Amy Winehouse, Duffy or Adele, you’ll like Jennifer Kae.
