From Flauntme: British model Alexa Chung is basically your guide for a simple, yet classy make-up look. She recently wore a beautiful, stunning red pout for the 30 Days of Fashion and Beauty held in Sydney and it’s simple, yet captivating. So you might be wondering, How do I achieve this same look as her? More »

From Flauntme: Some of you may admire Alexa Chung for her stylish and eye-catching ombre hair and consider her to be your “hair muse.” Turns out, the 27-year-old model looked up to rock legends, Mick Jagger and Brian Jones, of The Rolling Stones, for her hair inspiration! It seems like Chung could could pull off any hairstyle so her choice of hair muses aren’t going to damage her one bit. More »

Ever since Alexa Chung’s “It’s On With Alexa Chung” show cancelled a year ago, she’s done nothing else but prove that there is life after MTV. This time, she’ll be making a return to PBS in Thrift America. Think Antique Roadshow meets Anthony Bourdain meets thrift stores. In a nutshell, the show will follow around my favorite style icon across the nation touring different thrift store shops in search of the chic-est vintage finds. More »

T-ara’s Jiyeon graces the pages of August’s Elle Girl Korea magazine sporting a look that can mostly be described as androgynous chic. Androgynous chic is a look for either man or woman. Rihanna, Alexa Chung, BoA have all been known to rock outfits meant for dudes, and with flair. When it comes to fashion, I am all about androgynous chic.Or simply put, when girls dress like boys and boys dress like girls. More »

Alexa Chung was recently seen at the famous Met Ball wearing what appears to be a man’s suit. If you’re not keen on what the Met Ball is, it’s one big fashion party hosted by Anna Wintour. Hollywood has the Oscars and fashion has the Met Ball. Get invited to the Met Ball and you better believe you’ll be wearing your best fashion ensemble of the year. That’s how major this event is. Askmen.com’s Top 99 Women have been released. All these ladies have one thing in common, they’re all hot I wish I could be spending Valentine with them this year. Anyways, it seems like Asian women made a push to be an impact on this year’s list! Out of the 99 women, 6 are Asian. How I wish there were even more Asian ladies dominating the list, though! Maybe in 2011! More »

Alexa Chung, hipster turned model turned MTV talk show host turned fashion designer graces the cover of Vogue UK’s March issue. The feature on Alexa Chung is an essay she wrote on jeans, her fashion obsession. (And mine!) “Denim is a symbol of youth, sex, rebellion and, most essentially, America,” she writes. “Buying jeans is our first foray in American style.” One that she’s come to know well. “My denim shirts appear to be breeding in the bottom of my wardrobe,” she jokes, “and my newfound appetite for all things dungaree is becoming a worry.” More »

I am not going to lie, I have a TOTAL girl-boner for Alexa Chung. It’s so bad, I’d switch teams for her. Luckily, despite the cancellation of MTV’s “It’s On with Alexa Chung,” she once again proves to us that there is life after MTV. Of course the first piece of proof is the fact that she recently topped the list of Vogue’s Most Stylish People. The second piece of proof is that she’s the new face of Pepe Jeans alongside sexy male models Tom Guinness and Boyd Holbrook. I’m not necessarily a fan of Pepe Jeans, but looking at the photoshoot pics shot by Tom Munro is making me reconsider. More »

Even though MTV turned off “It’s On with Alexa Chung,” Alexa Chung proves that there’s life beyond a canceled MTV show. Alexa recently beat out Sarah Jessica Parker and model Kate Moss to top Vogue’s list of the most stylish people of 2009. Admittedly, Alexa Chung is at the top of my list and is also one of my own personal style icons. Her topping the Vogue list is like me topping the list. Kind of. More »

From Girlybubble: You may know Alexa Chung as the British talk show host of MTV’s “It’s On with Alexa Chung,” but for me, she’s this week’s pick for Cute Girl of the Week. I’m sure you saw this coming, what with the way I got excited over a picture of her licking a Chanel bag. Aside from that, I consider Alexa Chung one of my personal style icons. I also have a serious girl-boner for her. And the British, while you’re at it. Did I mention she’s British? And half Chinese? For both here and across the pond, there’s no denying this about Alexa Chung: She’s got style for days with a fun, vivacious personality to match! More »

Britain’s former T4 TV personality and my personal style icon, Alexa Chung, is coming stateside via MTV’s “The Alexa Chung Show.” The Alexa Chung show is deemed the successor to MTV’s TRL show, but with a twist. A Twitter twist. Unlike TRL where viewers were filmed or phoned to express reactions to celebrity guests, The Alexa Chung show’s partnership with Twitter will allow just about anyone with a Twitter account to Tweet their reactions that will be made visible on-screen. According to MTV, this is one way they’ll make its viewers “the stars.” More »
