There is an anime for Arakawa Under the Bridge series coming out, but I read some of the manga to get a taste of what it’s like. It’s really weird. While it never made me laugh out loud or anything, I had a stupid grin plastered on my face the whole time I was reading this. More »

Today I will feature a dedicated and talented cosplayer, twinklee of deviantART, cosplaying as Astharoshe from Trinity Blood. To tell you the truth, I haven’t seen nor read Trinity Blood so I don’t know if this costume is accurate. All I can say is that twinklee did one heck of a job creating this masterpiece of a costume. It has been reported that the collaboration song of Heartbreaker between G-Dragon and Flo-Rida will be released with G-Dragon’s live concert album, scheduled to be released the end of the month. Ponyo is to Hayao Miyazaki as Little Mermaid is to Disney. Growing up it’s always been a childhood dream of mine to become Ariel from The Little Mermaid — red hair, sea shell bra and all. There wasn’t a pool in sight that I didn’t reenact Ariel emerging from the water to do the famous, fierce Ariel hair-toss-out-of-the-water move. Having just seen Ponyo, I feel like I ought to take back all those embarrassing childhood memories. More »

Summer Wars is finally out, and I’m so excited to watch it. I’ve managed to resist watching the low quality versions floating around on the internet because I wanted to watch the movie at its best. I heard people compare this to the first Digimon movie, something I need to rewatch some day. I’ve managed to avoid spoilers for this long, just to be able to enjoy this movie even more. More »
