It was glorious. It followed most of the clichés that the earlier series followed, some kid gets caught up in the middle of an attack and jumps into a gundam. But what I like about this one is that it follows the mood of the original gundam and zeta gundam more closely. More »

Big Bang and 2NE1 recently gave a shout out to their fans on YouTube….in English! I have to say that their English isn’t bad at all (well, Taeyang and CL were doing most of the talking). More »

Yeah! A lot of k-pop artists are releasing albums in the next couple of months and you can add BEAST to list now. They’ll be releasing their second mini-album and are going for a more heavy rock sound. Sounds like it’ll be interesting. More »

Not only is Big Bang huge with the Japanese populace, but among their celebrities too! A few celebrities were spotted at Big Bang’s Electric Love Tour including Mika Nakashima, Koda Kumi, Becky, V6, Matsuura Aya, and more! More »

Yotsuba&! is a pretty cute series done by Kiyohiko Azuma, the guy who also did the Azumanga Daioh manga. It’s about a little girl named Yotsuba and her life after moving to a new house. I can’t believe I enjoyed this, and it’s almost embarassing, but I loved reading it. This should crack open even the most stone hearted devil witch emo. More »

I’ve decided that Naruto FMVs (fan made videos) are the best videos ever. Ninja of the Night is one of the funniest fan made videos I’ve ever seen, right behind Real Ninjas. More »

Here’s an interesting fanart that combines the style of Matt Groening (The Simpsons, Futurama) and the characters from Death Note. It’s a strange combination but it surprisingly works! More »

I have a very wide variety of musical tastes, and one genre that I have not highlighted yet is rock. Although I’m not a hardcore J-rock fan, I will admit that I indulge in my occasional dose of it. Today’s song of the day is Aqua Timez’s “Velonica.” More »

Well isn’t this an intersting and weird combination. Gundam + McDonald’s = Awesomeness mixed with WTF?! More »

It took a while to muster the motivation to watch Katanagatari’s second episode. I’m not sure if it was worth it. The problems from the first episode are still existing in the second one, mostly the dialogue. It was too dragged out and mostly meaningless. It felt like they struggled to extend the episode to 1 hour when it could easily fit a 30 minute episode. More »

I will say now that I am in complete shock at this week’s Bleach manga installment. Chapter 392, called “The Breaking Glaciers,” is certainly something Bleach fanatics everywhere are talking about. Keep reading to see what you missed. More »
