We meet the wretched, villainous, and infamous evil ladies in almost every single Korean drama. The woman that attempts to tear our beloved couple apart is someone that we’re not fond of at all. As supporters of the main couple, we’re entirely too protective and can tend to grow a bit catty. So we will throw insults and do whatever means necessary just to release on anger on these females. Vanness Wu, who most people associate with F4, is so hilarious. Now, I never got into the whole Boys Before Flowers/Meteor Shower/Hana Yori Dango deal because I found it too typical, which is funny because this is really the manga that people tend to “copy.” Anyway, I was never a huge fan of Vanness until this video. As 2009 comes to an end, it is prime time to reflect on a year of heartbreak, love, betrayal, excess, unrequited love and of course “drama.” Thankfully I’m not talking about my own personal life but two of my favorite dramas of the year: Boys Before Flowers and Shining Inheritance. One thing I love about being a SoCal citizen is that my Kpop dreams are never too far out of reach. No, I’m not pregnant with Se7en’s child, but thanks for asking. Instead, I got to see Wheesung, Clazziquai, SS501, Jewelry and other Kpop sensations perform live at the Victory Concert held at the Nokia Theater in LA last night. The long awaited Korean version of drama hit series Hana Yori Dango will air on KBS 2TV in the last week of December. Finally! Honestly, I can’t believe I had to wait so damn long for Korea to catch up. Aren’t they the melodrama gods?

So far there’s been a lot of hype for the show as it is one of the most popular series in all of Asian due to predecessors Meteor Garden (Taiwan) and Hana Yori Dango (Japan; creator of the series). With so much pressure, they’ve gathered some big names to help record the mini series like renowned director Jeon Gi-Sang (Sassy Girl Chuhyang, My Girl) and writer Yoon Ji-Ryeon (Sharp #3).
