BoA’s first US album debuts today! I’m guessing most of you aren’t really album buyers for one reason or another, but the sales total matters more than anything else if you want to see more US albums from BoA. So I’m saying if you really want to help BoA succeed here, you gotta buy this album and tell your friends to do the same. More »

It’s true. BoA’s debut album drops only 9 days from now and Ningin is on it!

We brought you an exclusive interview with the massive Asian pop star back in December and now we’re back with more BoA in 2009! We redesigned her Ningin page just for her. In return, BoA was sweet enough to write a letter herself to her fans.

Remember! Her album gets its official American release in a few days but you can preorder the album today and win some awesome giveaways from Ningin. Our giveaway supply is limited so do it now or never! More »

BoA has just released a teaser MV for her album single “I Did It For Love” on Youtube and to say the least it’s hot.

Not only is the Apop star busting a move but she’s flaunting a sexy new style that we’ve never seen before. Could this possibly be the video that pushes BoA to the top? Hope so! BoA and SM Entertainment are definitely stepping up their game for BoA especially with the album release only a few weeks away (March 17th).

Don’t forget to preorder your album! Ningin is giving away awesome merchandise in addition to throwing a party in the pop stars honor. More »

BoA’s self-titled album will be out in less than a month but that doesn’t mean you can’t preview her latest track now.

Imeem, along with all BoA’s social media pages, is hosting the 1:30 teaser for BoA feat. Sean Garret – I Did It For Love. You can listen to the clip below. More »

It’s exactly one month till BoA officially releases her American debut album, and you can now preorder it on Amazon.

The pop princess is taking her debut seriously by pulling out all the stops for this moment. Not only have they hired top notch producers, music video directors and photographers, but doing whatever it takes to get BoA on the map. If only Se7en did the same.

The album is officially called BoA (self-titled) and will be released on March 17th. You can preorder your album here for $11.99. More »

In the spirit of the BoA Event, I’ve decided to do a Round Up featuring some of my favorite BoA singles and performances. While there are many to be listed, I’ve narrowed down the list to ten. Hopefully when she makes it in the US, there will be a lot more!

As always enjoy! More »

Did any of you out there take a gander at the chaos? I am talking about the new remix of the song ”Them Girls” by Se7en feat Lil’Kim. When I first heard the songs original arrangement, at Se7en’s White Day celebration, I was sincerely impressed. I believed that the song could have been shopped out to stations right away. Now… with this latest edition I am not so sure anymore. With all these hold-ups and bad song choices, I am beginning to believe that Asian artists do not want to make it in the US at all. That they rather sabotage themselves so they can run and hide back in their own overseas markets. Especially in Korea and Japan where prepackaged talents are not much competition, there is pretty much no popular independent artists and music companies turn out their protégé product on schedule. Finally, what took her so long? The old kpop diva Boa held a press conference yesterday announcing that she’ll be debuting in America sometime in the next few months. She’ll release her English album on October 7th via iTunes and Myspace while releasing it in stores on November 11th.

While I’m a big fan of Boa, I hope she stepped her English game up because her teaser video for “Eat You Up” (sexual innuendo?) wasn’t that impressive. It’s a disconnected beat mixed with Engrish lyrics and a random chandelier crashing. If the dancing wasn’t as good as it is, all I would see is failure. She’s supposedly taking advance English lessons but so was Rain and Se7en.

Boa is honestly Korea’s last hope for breaking out into the US. She’s probably the only qualified Kpopper around unless Hyori wants to let everyone else in the US know her boobs aren’t fake.

Visit her official American website for more details. More »
