Day 10 of the Wonder Girls / 2PM Decathlon came and went pretty quickly. You could say, it ninja’ed in and ninja’ed out. Yes, I chose the Ninja Glove game just so I could say that line. Anyway, top Ninja of the day is pawpaw. However, it was second place finisher, deniseisafan, that ninja’ed the last Wonder Girls poster. And so we conclude our last Decathlon on Ningin for awhile. Other prize winners and stuff will be announced soon. More »

Day 9 of the Wonder Girls / 2PM Decathlon featured a pretty tough game in Badabul. It’s one of those games that require both skill and strategy. conkwe is the perennial favorite whenever this game comes out, taking both the high score and a WG poster for her efforts. Her high score was more than double that of Alteil’s second place score. My algorithm for picking winners seems to favor that on skill based games. Well 10 more hours of Decathlon left. Who will win the last poster? More »

The main reason why I chose Addup for Day 8 of the Wonder Girls / 2PM Decathlon was because I knew it was finals / SAT week for a lot of people. So I was helping them get their math skills in full gear. Ok that’s not true, but I’m sure it had a positive effect. Top 3 finishers are bunnysgobounce, Killua, and FryThatLumpia. You know who to pick for your team if we ever start doing math tournaments on Ningin. But I rather be lucky than a speedy math wiz. I’m sure Kizuninha would agree with me since she finished 19th and won a Wonder Girls poster! Two more days left folks! More »

Day 7 of the Wonder Girls / 2PM Decathlon left just as quickly as it came. We hardly had a chance to get to know it, but it left a profound impact on our hearts… But let’s not dwell on its passing. Rather let’s focus on the results. Alteil finished first on this day followed solemnly by angeltorino and Killua. However, it’s bunnysgobounce that left with a Wonder Girls poster. Life is like that sometimes. More »

Day 6 of the Wonder Girls / 2PM Decathlon was rather uneventful which is a good thing. Quicktype may not be the most inspired of games, but it’s a game everyone can reasonably play well. FryThatLumpia gets first place by quite a margin over his the 2nd place itztofu. But JefferyKuo is the poster winner. Congrats to him! Only 4 days left… More »

Per usual in these Decathlons, Day 5 of the Wonder Girls / 2PM Decathlon was a bit controversial. There was a bug found by Ningin user LISARRHH (thanks again!), that allowed people to submit their scores twice. That used to not be a problem until we switched to a random system of selecting winners that uses number of scores submitted as a variable in determining winners. About two dozen of you took advantage of that either mistakenly or intentionally. Read on to see my decision on this. More »

Day 4 of the Wonder Girls / 2PM Decathlon was relatively quiet. eunhyuklovervlee took 1st place early on and never really let go of the lead. Only two other people managed to top the 6k mark, LISARRHH and suweijun. Good job by them. I also found it funny that you guys thought you needed to click on the squares. Before we get to the scores, I want to repeat that while we are tracking IP addresses, we’re not enforcing the 1 IP policy…yet. More »

I hope everyone had fun during Day 3 of the Wonder Girls / 2PM Decathlon! (I got a lot of request for Bejeweled type games and decent ones are hard to find.) th3thr33 took first place today. But remember, we’re using a new method of calculating winners starting today. So who is the first person to win using this new method? More »

Day 1 was a good start for a lot of people in the Wonder Girls / 2PM Decathlon. With so many ties, we actually gave out 22 pins instead of the usual 20. Niecydc finished first by a somewhat large margin and wins a Wonder Girls or 2PM poster. Lots of standing points were given out because of these ties. Since this is Ningin’s third Decathlon, it’s possible that people are starting to get the hang of everything which could very well lead to the most closely contested Decathlon yet! Anyway, you should do two things: 1. Check out today’s results below. 2. Look at the updated roster page as it now includes the level that we’ll be using determine your prize eligibility. More »

Super Junior Decathlon was overall a really fun event. About 600 people started it (way more than expected) and about 300 people finished it. I guess the competition was too grueling for about half of the contestants. Well 9 autograph photos have already been given out. Thanks again to our wonderful YesAsia supporter we have a bunch of great Decathlon prizes to hand out now! Congrats to them for hitting 30k Facebook followers over the weekend. Everyone should be following them on Facebook and Twitter. Lots of deals and coupons and other good stuff. More »

At last we reach the conclusion of the Super Junior Decathlon. Day 10 was perfectly uneventful in that there was no controversy over the skills. I think a big part of that is this Heron Steam Machine game is extremely well made. Well FryThatLumpia got the highest score and thus the Donghae autograph. His score was submitted with 10 mins left. I guess he just wanted to add some drama to the final day of the competition. It’s amazing that so many of you fought through all 10 days as we still see some new faces in the top 20: biwikiwi, xpenguinx, itskaaattt, puffyblue08, and juliaa. That makes me very happy to see! Well all the scores are in and we have our top 17 players. Shortly there will be a post announcing the winners and how to go about choosing prizes. More »

Day 10 of the Super Junior Decathlon still going strong! Let’s take a look at the current top 20 for today’s game Heron: Steam Machine: More »

Everybody wins day 9 of the Super Junior Decathlon. Well that’s the result, but technically that’s not what happened. This Gingerbread Circus game is somewhat flawed. There was a bug where you can get a ridiculous amount of points which some people used to their advantage. Now this game was one of the very first MLG tourney games and it wasn’t discovered until now. I’m also finding that in general, any games that belong to the class of of shooting/reflex games that uses speed and precision as a means of making things hard need to be removed. Apparently these types of games behave differently on different computers with different configurations giving some an unfair advantage. Looking at the scores I saw that a lot, and I mean A LOT, of the scores were compromised. Too much for me to weed out completely. Thus everyone gets a Heechul pin. Read on for more details.
