With all that info, we split the interview into two parts. As promised, here’s Part 2. More »

Ningin’s Kevin Desmond stopped by Far East Movement headquarters for a little tour with FM’s Kev Nish. Afterwards, they sat down with Prohgress for some interview time. The two MCs spilled the beans about FM’s origins, working with Jin the MC and Se7en, the popular “Girls On The Dancefloor” contest, their upcoming tour with Epik High, and another International Secret Agents show later this year! Whoa, that’s a lot! So we split the interview into two parts. Enjoy Part 1 today. Part 2 will be up tomorrow. More »

FAM thought that Epik High’s shout out to Ningin was so awesome that we decided to shout back! As fans, we thought it was really cool that these guys actually took the time to make the shout outs they did and get personal. We totally support them. More »

Epik High have broken free of their record label with the new album (and book) “Map the Soul!” On March 21, MapTheSoul.com went live and came to an abrupt halt when 300,000 Epik High fans bumrushed the site at once. Over the weekend, there was a massive server upgrade and overhaul to handle the traffic. Today, MapTheSoul.com will come back online! What did Epik High do while the site was down? They all got in the bathroom and made a little video for Ningin! (Yes, in the bathroom.) More »

Hope you guys have already made plans for V-day, because it’s just around the corner!

And after that comes March which meaning Apop overload! It seems that a handful of Apop artists are releasing their new albums in March (Utada, BoA, Epik High and Se7en). For whatever reason they may all be releasing their albums in the same month, I’m looking forward to each and every one of them!

As always, enjoi! More »

Seems that the flu is going around, since everyone and their mom is getting sick! I’m still recovering and hooked on Nyquil but no worries, I was able to pump out this blog post.

It seems to have been an eventful week with new MV’s released, some old stars making their comebacks, in addition to some parody love. I’m glad the week’s over.

As always, enjoy! More »

Here’s a weekly music round up for the year.

While the single may be a hit, it’s not always that the music video is. In fact, it’s hard to find a song and MV that go well together. Loads of MVs were released this year by new and old artists but only a handful of them were actually memorable.

Listed below are the MVs from 2008 that have stand out the most to me (in no particular order). More »

For Asian artists, 2008 seems to be the year of comebacks, newcomers, and tenth anniversaries. Here I’ve created a list ranking my top ten songs of 2008. More »

Another year has passed and the MKMF awards are back with a few surprises. Throughout the night, there was a kiss between TOP and Hyori Lee (no big deal tbh) in addition to crying by several celebrities namely Changmin of DBSK. But the biggest surprise of all was not the performances nor the random events in between, but the awards. It was really surprising to hear who won what especially considering the year. More »

It’s finally the weekend although that doesn’t stop the workload. Development has been working on something big (hint hint wink wink) so please check back for updates.

Also, there’s a new blogger if you didn’t know. His name is Jerry Chen and he’s an anime, jpop, basketball and game expert. Finally another gamer to join us! I felt a bit nerdy being the only one so far.

I somewhat enjoyed this weeks more than others in the past because most of the songs were pretty good (3 out of 5). Always a good sign right? As always enjoy this batch. I really do like finding these music videos every week for you guys so I hope you do too. More »

First and foremost, Happy October everyone. It is Brest Cancer Awareness month so please be sure to remember, recognize or donate. Sankyu!

As promised, here’s a double roundup to make up for the one missed a few weeks ago. Gomen gomen! I hope you enjoy this weeks round up as some of the videos are old and new. I really liked picking out this weeks because I didn’t have to be as super selective.

Our Cosplay Photoshoot Contest is still going on so if you haven’t voted please do before Sunday 12PM EST. There are a lot of amazing cosplayers out there so check them out in our on the NY Anime Festival microsite or our gallery.

So again, enjoy! More »
