As part of the ongoing preview on CrazySingleLife, we’re going to introduce some of the dating stars before the site launches. Each dater on CSL will have an alias derived from a color. They also have to write two posts before they start dating, an introduction post and a Mr./Mrs. Right post. The introduction post is meant as a description of themselves, but not like height, age, occupation. It’s more a window into their soul and the journey that their heart has been on. The second post is an open letter to the future Mr./Mrs. Right so that he or she will know to come calling on our daters.

The following except is from the introductory letter of Steel, one of the two male bloggers for CSL. On Monday, you met Tenne, yesterday you met Cerulean and tomorrow you’ll meet them all. Enjoy! More »

It’s been a super busy week for everyone here and for Asian pop news in general. So a quick recap, Jaebum quit 2PM and lands on the top of this week’s “worst week ever” list; The White On Rice movie came out on Friday and Ningin got an advance screener for review plus an interview with the director, David Boyle; Telia Tequila almost died; YG Entertainment has a new girl group, Lady Collection; Epik High is coming out with a super mega album; so are Do As Infinity and Maki Goto; and BoA is doing another collab with M-Flo. I feel like I’m forgetting something…oh yea, we launched a new website for NFL fans, BlitzNation.com. Speaking of which, there’s a contest over there for Madden 10 games and Xbox360/PS3 controllers. Really that’s just the tip of the iceberg for both Ningin and for weekly Asian media happenings. In case you haven’t noticed we’ve doubled the amount of blog posts per day. So make of note to check back here more often! More »

September on Ningin is Heartbreaker month. Yes we are dedicating the entire month and maybe more to one of the most painful experiences a human being can have…because G-Dragon decided to make an album with that title. So in this case heartbreak isn’t that bad. If anything, I’m gonna bet you want to heartbroken this month, over and over again. Since we aim to please, we have lots and lots of heartbreak to spread around - albums, posters, and collectible memorabilia. So let the epic heartbreak begin. More »

I know I’m a bit later than usual with this post. Business is well, keeping me busy lately. That’s because we’re about to undergo quite a lot of expansion. Sometime very soon, we’ll be launching NFL football communities, BlitzNation.com. So NFL fans, you’re in for a real treat. There’s going to be lots of promos and giveaways and pins when that happens. Of course, your Ningin account will be your universal login to BlitzNation like any other site in the Mixr Network. Soon after BlitzNation goes up, Wirebot, our gaming community will follow. That’s for those of you who keep asking me about Wirebot. A more detailed post will follow soon. More »

Even though the economy has been pretty bad, things are pretty good here for Ningin and our parent company. So we’re looking to do some expansion. One immediate expansion that we have in mind is a new gaming site which we hope to launch in the next couple of weeks. We’re going to have both paid blogger positions and a couple of internships which won’t be paid. More info after the jump. More »

One of the biggest entertainment companies in Japan, Johnny’s Jimusho is expanding their company to Korea. In the past few years there have been countless numbers of boy bands and groups coming from both Korea and Japan. Way too many, but apparently we need more! That’s why Johnny’s has decided to expand into Korea.

Popular Japanese groups such as ARASHI, KAT-TUN, and NewS have huge followings in Korea. ARASHI even has around 200,000 fans in Korea alone, and the numbers are quickly growing. Because of this, Johnny’s has announced that they will soon enter the Korean market.

They need to stop. Korea only has a few decent boy bands, like DBSK, Big Bang, and SHINee. Japan has… hardly any, except for ARASHI.
