This week’s pin challenge should you choose to accept: Luna! If you can remember from the previous Mixr bloggers vs. Mixr users one-day MLG match, Luna is a game in which the objective is to pass colored balls into matching portals. Since I’m such a big Sailor Moon fan, you better believe the challenge is fierce. More »

In war, it’s often the victors that gets to write the narrative. Since I was captain of the Mixr Users team, history is how I see it. What I saw was…total domination by Mixr Users!! From the beginning, it never seemed like Mixr Bloggers had much of a chance, but people expected a much closer battle instead of the 7-2 final outcome. One of those points on the Mixr Blogger team, by the way, came from a Mixr User not playing. Let’s get to the breakdowns: More »

This past week’s Click the Bombs pin challenge was, for lack of a better phrase, the-bomb-dot-com! In this challenge, you had to score 30+ points for a Keanu Reeves pin. Those who beat Hoc’s score received a lovely Sandra Bullock pin. More »

Mixr League Gaming fans, are you ready? Tomorrow marks the start of yet another one-day MLG match pitting Mixr bloggers vs. Mixr users. Looking at the official roster, only one thing is certain: Competition is going to be fierce. More »

Is the pen mightier than the sword? Or to be specific, are Mixr bloggers stronger than Mixr users when it comes to MLG matches? One way to find out is to pit them against each other in a 1-day MLG match this Saturday, Jan. 30. As team captain of the Mixr blogger team, it’ll be interesting to go against our very own users…with Hoc as team captain of the Mixr user team. More »

Boy what an intense weekend of flash gaming! Going into this I really didn’t think the teams were all that balanced. With only three total points separating the first and last team, it seems we have some real competition. WireMeis first getting a 24 out of a possible 36 points. Team Mixr Users is second trailing by just one point. BlitzKuTek is not far behind, trailing by 2 points. Ningin, the once dominant team heading into this tournament, is surprisingly last trailing WireMe by 3. Let’s get to the breakdowns: More »

The pin challenge objective however, isn’t as easy. More »

Last week, in an effort to share the joy and the excitement of the MLG, we announced our very first weekly pin challenges. The Word Blix pin challenge, challenged everyone to score 1,000+ points while the Headspin Storybook book pin challenge challenged everyone to earn a score of 15,000+ points. Those who scored in the top 3 of each game, received special pins. More »

It seems that if pin challenges like our Word Blix pin challenge were a trend, you’d be rocking it like it was going out of style. Since it’s doing well, and because we want to keep you in style, we’re doubling the challenges with even more cool pins to win! More »

Ninginers, I challenge you! I challenge you to a pin challenge to the death! Okay, well, not really to the death. You also didn’t read that wrong, it does indeed say pin challenge and not pin game. With the MLG Tournament II upon us, we want everyone to share in the same fun of playing super intense (but super fun) flash games. This week’s pin challenge involves Word Blix, a game I have been seriously practicing ever-so-hard to beat BlitzKuTek in next week’s MLG Tournament. More »

I hope everyone had a fantastic holiday week. I know I did. For Christmas this year, Hoc gave me the present of taking the torch of announcing weekly prize winners and updating you with all the Ningin news. Hoc’s like that relative that actually gifts you with things you need, like socks. Truthfully, we needed this present — clearly, I am the cuter person for this weekly blog post. Speaking of presents, we really hope you enjoyed the ones we got you this year, like our 12 Days of Christmas Special and our new flash games sub-site. More »

Ninginers! As of today, think of me not as Jinra, Mother Ningin, but as Queen Jinranidas. Looming ahead in the not-so-distant horizon of 2010 is a grand sporting event of epic proportions. For an event as grand as this, I call upon you to prepare for glory! From Jan. 2 to 4, Ningin will host the birth of the first official Mixr League Gaming (MLG) Tournament. Teams that compete in the MLG are formed of both Mixr staff and community members based on cyberathletic ability in flash games. More »
