It has been reported that the fine young ladies are out on a vacay. I hope it’s at least a couple of weeks? They’ll be back in a flash for their February album. Many people are already speculating what their image will be like and if they can top the phenomenon of years past. Another Gee? Another Genie? Chocolate love? Top it or not, I’m sure it will be excellent. (Whatever it is, I hope it involves more leg action!) More »

2009 had some fierce competition as far as music goes in the state of Pop music, especially Korea. However, the Asians took their battle internationally, as US and Japan had some excellent music videos. More »

2009 was definitely a year of ups and downs, unfortunately more downs than up. In Japan they were pretty stable, nothing was fantastically up or horribly down. Korea had the worst year in music so far, not just in 2009, but of all time, in which I feel had rivaled America for dramatic turmoil. More »

Haha made you look! 2NE1 was awarded best artist by MNET. 2NE1 is new this year and definitely I’d thought they only win the “Rookie of the Year” award. But alas, they got the whole shebang. More »

Dear Santa Claus: I know I haven’t written you in the last two decades of my life, but there’s just a few things I need to say to you. The first thing is, Ningin has been incredibly nice this year. Almost saint-like, in fact. Second, we’ve been so nice that we put together one big Ningin Christmas Wish List and turned it into The 12 Days of Christmas Special. From now until Christmas Day, we’ll reveal one wish off of our Christmas Wish List. Santa, I really think every wish on this list deserves to come true. More »

Early this month, I already revealed 2 different photo set series to SPAO, one including the Girl’s Generation, and the other including Super Junior, in a very saturated, candy-like outfits seemingly suitable for spring. The SPAO series seems to be aiming to brighten and color people’s spirits this holiday, and bring it with cheer. The perfect mascots for that, were of course the mentioned groups above, known for their upbeat pop songs filled with cheer. More »

He is so lucky that it’s better than winning the lottery! Now, what makes this man so lucky? Well, he got to chill with SM’s ladies, Girls’ Generation and f(x), on the same day. Think of the millions of fans DYING to see them live in concert or meet them close. In just a couple of weeks of Kim Tae Woo’s comeback, he meets and hangs out with them. Talk about a blessing! In honor of next week’s American Thanksgiving, consider the following pictures, pictures we’re definitely thankful for. More »

So what’s going on with Yoona these days? Must you ask? Everything would always be the answer for someone working under the largest record label in Korea. Lately, Yoona has been rapidly blossoming into a very fine woman, from her new found skills in “the seductive eye glare” to her incredible growth in acting in Cinderella Man, and continual growth as an excellent singer and dancer. Yoona has been working non stop lately, just like all the other Girls’ Generation members. The classic theme was a hit in Chocolate Love, so I suppose it was decided that Yoona will be garbed in a very classic European and very elegant wardrobe. The makeup, setting , clothes and Yoona herself are spot on beautiful. For some reason, the hair kills it though. It neither suits the style back then, nor looks too flattering. More »

These new hot phone apps introduced by Girls’ Generation, are like the equivalence of iPhone applications. How sweet is that! I’ve always wondered if Korean mobile companies will develop something like the iPhone. Korea is well known for creating phones such as LG, Samsung, and Helio. More »
