Doosan Bears and Kia Tigers that is. At Jamsil Stadium yesterday April 5th, the girls of SNSD showed off more than just their singing skills - Yuri pitched for the 2nd time, Seo Hyun batted, and Sunny sang the national anthem. With Wonder Girls taking a few-month-long break, this leaves new “rivals” Kara and Girls’ Generation vying for the spot as the top girl group in Kpop.

With the release of their latest mini-album Pretty Girl, Kara has been enjoying a lot more popularity. Unfortunately, it’s not enough. Girls’ Generation, on the other hand, has too much. Within only a few hours of the release of their latest single “Gee,” the song was #1 on countless Korean music charts and even managed to turn a lot of their anti’s into fans. More »

Despite being gone for nearly nine months, the girls have made a successful comeback with “Gee”. They recently performed the hit single on MBC’s Music Core in addition to “Way to Go” from their mini album. The girls have been so successful as of late that not only have netizens been praising them but they’ve topped the Melon charts (Korea’s biggest music portal).

I can honestly say they’ve made a fan out of me.

So Nyeo Shi Dae hasn’t completely dropped off the face of the earth. They’ve recently have become the faces of GoobNe Chicken. Their CF features them battling against each other for whatever reason. While their moves aren’t something that would win them a spot of America’s Best Dance Crew, they definitely reminded me of a bunch of flopping chickens. I guess this is what happens to the rejects.
