It was glorious. It followed most of the clichés that the earlier series followed, some kid gets caught up in the middle of an attack and jumps into a gundam. But what I like about this one is that it follows the mood of the original gundam and zeta gundam more closely. More »

Sunrise’s new Gundam Unicorn anime

It’s nice to see Sunrise working on turning a Gundam novel into anime. Their more recent series (Gundam 00, Seed, Destiny) just didn’t feel right to me. Hopefully this encourages more Universal Century stuff (the original gundam timeline) to get animated. It feels bad missing out on a huge chunk of the story just because I can’t read the novels/manga like Crossbone Gundam and Hathaway’s Flash. More »
