CNBlue was recently featured in an Elle Girl Korea fashion editorial shoot rocking the softest of soft pastel colors. Nothing says manly quite like light pink, yellow and blue. Alexa Chung, hipster turned model turned MTV talk show host turned fashion designer graces the cover of Vogue UK’s March issue. The feature on Alexa Chung is an essay she wrote on jeans, her fashion obsession. (And mine!) “Denim is a symbol of youth, sex, rebellion and, most essentially, America,” she writes. “Buying jeans is our first foray in American style.” One that she’s come to know well. “My denim shirts appear to be breeding in the bottom of my wardrobe,” she jokes, “and my newfound appetite for all things dungaree is becoming a worry.” More »

Korean actor/singer Jang Geun Suk recently held a fan meeting in which he wore what could possibly be the brightest, loudest, shiniest sequinned blazer known to man. I totally understand that stage performances do require an element of flashy, but this might’ve been enough to blind fans. It’s almost unfair — he’s a Korean heartthrob so it’s totally normal for fans to faint, pass out or vomit from all the excitement. Fans prone to fainting, passing out or vomiting at this fan meeting also ran the risk of becoming blind. More »

At the recent Hong Kong Fashion Week, designer Guo Pei debuted their winter shoe collection’s outrageously high heels that caught the attention of well, everyone. Meant more to be works of art, these shoes seem to be on the heels of an architectural, dangerously high heel trend revival started by Alexander McQueen’s Spring/Summer 2010 collection and recently popularized by my queen, Lady Gaga.
