Another year has passed and the MKMF awards are back with a few surprises. Throughout the night, there was a kiss between TOP and Hyori Lee (no big deal tbh) in addition to crying by several celebrities namely Changmin of DBSK. But the biggest surprise of all was not the performances nor the random events in between, but the awards. It was really surprising to hear who won what especially considering the year.

OMG. This is the group that got me into KPop way back in sixth grade, in 1996 for me. This group and this particular song, their first mega-popular single. Man, this is bringing back so much memories. H.O.T., standing for High-five of Teenagers, were like Seo Taiji, all revolutionary in their own ways to change the Korean media.

While I still think Seo Taiji really paved the way for groups like H.O.T., I think H.O.T. were the ones who really made it popular. I mean, popular with a capital “p”. I mean so popular that their jerseys? The ones in the video belows? They were being sold as well as their hats. Seriously. One of my friends knew where to get those merchandises. She liked Tony, I liked Hee Jun, another friend liked Kangta, and another liked Tony as well, but we all took those merchandises, and we were even considering memorising the dance, the song, and everything and perform it at our school’s talent show. Luckily, that didn’t go through, but that’s how popular the group was.

Anyway, since I got into DBSK, I was actually looking back into the past boy bands like H.O.T. and decided that they are classic enough to warrant an entry. Anyway, watch and listen to the videos below. “Candy”, the song lyrics has NOTHING to do with the confectionery, is a happy-go-lucky song, catchy, and er . . . the boys were in very strange outfits now that I look back on it. Diablo is one of the best MMOs I’ve ever played; however, it was unfortunate when Diablo II lost it’s novelty after I played it more than I would like to admit. So when Diablo III was announced, you can only imagine how psyched I was especially after hearing about one of the new classes.

One of the new classes is an Asian, female wizard. Not only does she have a better looking body than any gravure idol but her powers vary from disintegration, electrocution, teleportation, magic missiles and slowing time – most of which the original magic user (sorcerer) could do. But that’s probably just a sample of what she can do. The character page goes into more detail about her background but all I needed to know was that she’s bad ass.

Out of all the new addition in the game, I’m really looking forward to playing her especially since she’s a magic based character, sexy and Asian. Honestly, what more could you ask for? If she was real, I would probably marry her. But anyways next time I go to a convention, I plan to cosplay as her but don’t expect me to shoot lightening out of my hands (although I really wish I could).

The date of release is still unknown unfortunately but BlizzCon is going on right now so hopefully they’ll surprise us.
