You know you are getting old when you don’t know the artists that giant soft drink brand Pepsi sign to endorse their products. I used to follow these Pepsi celebrity endorsers like crazy. Remember Faye Wong, Aaron Kwok, Jay Chou, Jolin Tsai and Louis Koo? They were once enslaved by Pepsi to tout its flagship soda brand like their lives depend on it. The company had also used boy bands like F4 to do the same thing in the past. Wonder how these sissy pants managed to lift up a can of Pepsi when they shot the commercials and not break their nicely manicured nails. They looked oh so fragile!
Taiwanese Mandopop singer Jolin Tsai has been serving as the whack off material for Chinese geeks around the world since the release of her album Dancing Diva in 2006. Bitch appears to be serving this purpose again through her new album Flower Butterfly that was released just two weeks ago. She has released three mvs from this album and one of them (titled “Real Men”) will for sure give straight men nose bleeds of the century. Check out the video here. Make sure to stuff some tissue in your nostril first.
Celebrate Chinese New Year a little late with Jolin Tsai (蔡依林; Cài Yīlín) and Energy at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT. There will be two performances on Sunday, February 8th; one at 2am and one at 2pm. (Yes, people really do go to the 2am show! Trust me.)

Taiwanese Mandopop diva Jolin Tsai (蔡依林 Cài Yīlín) will be performing live at the San Jose State University Event Center this Sunday, November 30! Ningin’s own Jerry Chen will be attendance screaming at the top of his lungs with his hands in the air.
Jolin has been slowly but surely working to reach out beyond the Cpop market. Last year, she recorded a special duet of “In My Arms”with Australian Kylie Minogue. The song was released on the Asian edition of Kylie Minogue’s “X” Album. This year she released her first all English album “Love Exercise (愛的練習語)”.
Cpop boy band Energy will be opening up for Jolin.
Event organizers and promoters are Star Image located in Fremont, California. They’re mission is to bridge Chinese and American entertainers, performers, and cultures. They’ve put together some great shows in California the past few years to promote Cpop with artists such as Coco Lee, Alex Tu and Wang Lee Hom. (A lot of people think Wang Lee Hom is my look-a-like. I always insist he got the talent, but I got the looks.) We’re looking forward to more events from Star Image! More »
Jolin Tsai (蔡依林) released her new album “Love Exercise (愛的練習語)” and (surprise!) it’s entirely in English. It features Jolin’s pop electronic renditions of English karaoke favorites like “Lovefool” (The Cardigans) and “Lady Marmalade” (Christina Aguilera, Lil’ Kim, Pink, Mya).
But what hit me was the Asian counter punch of “Kiss me”… More »
