One of the patterns you notice in Korean dramas is that the male lead is usually arrogant and obnoxious yet super wealthy and handsome. What’s ironic here is that although their characteristics are very despicable, we still tend to fall in love with them. Ever gorgeous Joo Ji Hoon, who has starred in Antique Bakery and my favorite ever Goong, has signed with Keyeast agency, a.k.a Bae Yong-Joon’s management company. For those who have forgotten, I am certainly not one of them, Ji Hoon was arrested and charged with using ecstasy and ketamine at a fellow actor’s house in April 2008. He received a suspended sentence which pertained to a six-month prison term, fines, and community service. He then joined the army right after and isn’t set to be out until November 2011. More »

Such a beautiful weekend so far. I was tempted to stay outside all day but couldn’t ditch my obligation to find the best articles for my dear Ningin readers. Today’s news somewhat makes up for my sacrifice with lots of scandalous news. First we have finger pointing with money involved. Seems that certain SeeYa members are unhappy about their paychecks.
