September 11 to September 13 is the Korean holiday known as Chuseok, otherwise known as Korean Thanksgiving. It’s a three-day holiday where Koreans go back home and celebrate the good harvest with Korean traditional food such as songpyeon and rice wines such as sindoju and dongdongju. It lands during the Autumn Equinox and is somewhat like Lunar Festival, though not really. During this holiday, Koreans also like to dress up in traditional Korean clothing known as hanboks.
