I think Ken Watanabe is a great actor. His performance in Letters from Iwo Jima was impressive and his recent role in Inception was superb. That is why I must agree with Leonardo DiCaprio when he said that Watanabe should be one of Japan’s national treasures. More »

Inception is an upcoming sci-fi action thriller film slated to be released on July 16, which happens to feature Ken Watanabe (yes, that’s him under the P) one of eight Asian actors that had been nominated for an Academy Award for acting, as a supporting character named Saito. More »

… that The King of Asian Cinema Chow Yun Fat may play him in a new Chinese biopic later this year. The famous Chinese philosopher also foresees Mr Chow going to bed with an itchy butt and waking up with a smelly finger.

The film is backed by the Chinese government, and will be directed by a Mainland Chinese director Hu Mei. It will be shot in Hebei Province. More »
