It’s a reunion of a lifetime and simply put, it’s an awkward reunion. The ever so popular Mario runs into Sonic who is working as a waiter at a restaurant. Not exactly fitting for a video game character, especially if the series is named after you. More »

From Wirebot: Who would have thought, but Nintendo characters have been giving us great “exit lines” for years! In the game context they might not seem to fit the situation, but if you just want to get out of there and don’t necessarily mind hurting the person’s feelings, try out one of these classic lines: More »

From Wirebot:

With the release of CrazySingleLife, we find ourselves contemplating new beginnings and the possibilities of finding our special someone. On top of that, the arrival of the Christmas season has turned all of our cold, video game loving, hearts into big, pure, fuzzy, warm, gift giving, pleasure centers of kindness and love. But the holidays aren’t so great for everyone and like the famous Grinch, there are a handful of video game characters that have hearts three sizes too small this year. Hop aboard the love train as we take a tour to five different destinations that house five different video game characters, each one of them doomed to a blue holiday, alone. More »

Mario The most popular video game character in the world, and the most recognized of all time. I’ve been playing with Mario since Donkey Kong. Yeah he debuted in Donkey Kong. Kasou Tiashou is a show on NTV, which features various performances of skits that are rated by judges. They’re commonly known for the Matrix Ping Pong and Japanese Dinner Fight.

The Mario performance was featured last week and received a high score. And who can blame them? It’s definitely awesome, especially the random Obama appearance. More »

The medley consisted of songs from Mario, Zelda, and Kirby. Later, they also did a Legend of Zelda Medley. A copy of their sheet music can be found here, and click on the cut to see their performances.

I’m thoroughly impressed by their talent. Makes me want to find someone to play video game music duets with on the piano now! More »
