Yet another intense session of Mixr Legions has concluded! While Team Comet and Blitzen gave Donner a bit of a run, it was Team Donner that held on and won in the end. Thanks again to KpopHeaven for being such a gracious sponsor of this event! Here are the final scores and winners: More »

It’s been awhile since we concluded Stage 1 of Mixr Legions so let’s do a quick recap. Team Super SM Boys narrowly edged out Team Island of Infinite Boyfriend Kisses in the final moments of what was a back and forth match. The final score was 2000 to 1985. Team Super SM Boys will see 12 members from their team advance while only 9 from Team Island of Infinite Boyfriend Kisses will move on. Over 100 people signed up, only 21 remains. The advancing players were chosen based on number of Legion Points and EXP earned in Stage 1 as well as their total overall activity during the past the competition. Now we’ll be breaking into teams of three with the winning team - and most dedicated Kpop fans - will earn an album that they chose during signup. We’ll be starting Stage 2 at 12am EST tonight. Oh and KpopHeaven has been added as a sponsor and with their generiousity, we’ve upped the prizes. Read on for the new teams and prizes: More »

There’s about 120 contestants for this November session of Mixr Legions, which is 50% more than last time! The KPOP loyalties, based on your album preference, seems to be split half-way between SM boy groups vs everyone else. I can’t wait to see which team advances. There’s lots of albums and Reward Points up for grabs, so good luck to all the contestants! More »

The most valuable player in Legions August Session is Alteil. No one ran away with this award unlike the last Legion session. However, since Alteil was on the winning team, she doesn’t get a duplicate prize. Instead, the next person in line will get an album of her choice. And that person is… More »

This was the most intense Mixr Legions to date. In addition to upping the prize stakes, we’ve also added Grand Projects and a race-type win structure where the first person to reach 750 points wins it all. Almost throughout the entire session, Team Alteil was leading the pack. Team omgsun would occasionally take over first place. With about 48 hours left Team Alteil had a cushy 50 point lead and on their way to winning it all. But in the final 12 hours Team omgsun made a huge surge to close the gap to 3 points. In the end, like it always does, it came down to Territories. Team Alteil collected 20 points from their land while Team omgsun only collected 18. The final score was 753-748 and it’s Team Alteil that’s walking away with Super Junior Mr. Simple albums. More »

Since people seem intent on winning the current Legions session as soon as possible, we’re more than happy to oblige by adding a second Grand Project. This time, the project isn’t so grand and so the awards are not going to be as much. Read on for the details: More »

Mixr Legionnaires! Your task today is to hunt down unique (or just plain weird) gaming peripherals. When you find these gaming peripherals submit them to us via the “Share a Link” feature. Be among the first three to do this and your Legion will earn 10 Legion Points! More »

It seems that some of you figured out the Grand Project for Stage 2 was the same as Stage 1. Team futakoboshi already completed their Grand Project in less than 16 hours and took a commanding lead in the standings! (Hmm, I might need to set the bar a bit higher in the future.) I was going to wait a couple of days to announce the Grand Project thinking you guys could use a break. Obviously I was wrong in underestimating your will to win. Anyway, here’s the slightly different Grand Project details: More »

Recapping Stage 1, Super Simple beat KPOP the World and will see 17 of their members advance to this stage. KPOP the World will have 13 members represented here. The remaining players were chosen based on number of Legion Points and EXP earned in Stage 1 as well as their total overall activity during the past few days of the competition. Now we’ll be breaking into teams of three. With real albums and the most Reward Points ever to be given out in a Mixr Legions session, the competition is sure going to heat up! We’ll be starting Stage 2 at 12am EST tonight. Here are the teams and what each will be playing for: More »

Congrats to Team Super Simple for beating Team KPOP the World in Stage One of Mixr Legions! You guys got to 500 points in a span two and a half days which was much faster than anticipated! Really great job! 17 members of team Super Simple will be advancing to Stage Two as will 13 members of Team KPOP. I’ll be announcing the Stage Two teams on Sunday. More »

Soon, midnight tonight EST, a new and improved Mixr Legions session will start. One of the cool new things that you can do in this new Mixr Legions is work together on something we’re calling a Grand Project. Basically, a Grand Project is some large time-consuming task that is hard for one person to do, but easy if a team of people work together on it. Why would you do such work? Because the payoff in terms of Legion Points will be worth it. For this upcoming Legion session, you need 500 Legion Points to win the first stage. Completing the Grand Project is worth 250, or half, of the total Legion Points you’ll need to win. So here’s how it works: More »

This Legion Test #6 featured a new 2-phase structure which seems to have worked out rather well. Team LISARRHH won rather convincingly by almost 200 points and each member of the team gets a Beast - Fiction and Fact album for winning this test. LISARRHH’s aggressive play with Territories pretty much sealed the deal in determining the winner. Perhaps future teams can learn from her. Here’s the rest of the standings: More »
