It’s true, Christmas did arrive earlier than usual this year with the Mixr Holiday Rewards giveaway of the Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii. Facebook Connect is this cool feature that allows you to use your Facebook account to login and interact on all sites within the Mixr network. To put that in another way, all Mixr sites are connected via a common login and now you can use your Facebook account as that login. You’ll be able to comment, interact, gain EXP, invite your Facebook friends to BlitzNation, and have your activities on BlitzNation posted to your Facebook feed.

Keep in mind that this is a complex and deep integration of Facebook and the Mixr system. There might bugs every now and then so consider this Facebook integration to be in a beta stage. If you do find bugs, just fill out our contact form with as much detail as possible.

Mixr Media announces the launch of BlitzNation.com, a community for passionate NFL fans from all across the nation, sharing their love of football with other die-hard football fans. It launched with 9 teams - Bears, Packers, Cowboys, Giants, Eagles, Steelers, Titans, Patriots, and Chiefs - and will expand to cover all 32 teams.

BlitzNation will be reporting the latest NFL news, have weekly features, cover live games, and offer opinions about a game from the kickoff till the final whistle, all from a fan’s perspective. Mixr Media, LLC, and Reed Exhibitions announce a new promotional partnership for the New York Anime Festival (NYAF) taking place from Friday, September 26th to Sunday, September 28th at the Jacob Javitz Center.

Mixr Media, LLC, will be providing complete coverage before and during the NYAF on its Asian entertainment community site Ningin.com. Leading up to the start of the festival, anime fans can find pre-show interviews with Anime voice actors and New York Anime Festival founder Peter Tatara.

During the festival, the Ningin.com booth will provide live blogging coverage of the event. The Ningin.com booth will also host free cosplay photo sessions constantly throughout the festival. We’ve been quietly testing our newest community, GirlyBubble.com for about a week and we’re ready now to show the world! GirlyBubble is for young females with an appreciation of all things related to being a girl.
