This past week was one of the craziest we’ve ever had. A big part of the reason why is because of CrazySingleLife, our new dating reality site that launched a few days ago. You’ll find that it’s not like any other dating site. CrazySingleLife is about sharing stories and experiences and helping people feel ok about being single and lost about love. Who knows, it just might help you the next time you go on a date. Then, there was the Mixr Holiday party which can be best summed up as this: unlimited Grey Goose vodka and karaoke. It was an unforgettable crazy night! Can I just tell you, we have so many good singers here. Be on the look out for a Jinra CD cause she’s flat out amazing! More »

Like the true ninjas that we are, we’ve got yet another ninja surprise for you all. Ninja Assassin is currently in theaters now and we’ve got Ninja Assassin posters to give away to 11 very lucky people. (Or ninjas.) More »

Uh oh! What has this ninja been doing? Come on Rain! You got to teach these boys some English. They can’t pronounce the words behind MBLAQ’s letters! What have you been doing in Hollywood? More »

Rain, once again shows his busy side. He never stops to rest. Amazing. *In Raizo’s voice* Oh Rain, Rain, Rain. (You would get that if you watched the movie and see the scene where he’s locked up and says a girl’s name three times). When do you ever stop? More »

This week started off with a bang. Or rather, a boom since we had a casual interview with Boom Boom Satellites. We also learned that Ninja Assassin grossed $21 MM over the Turkey day weekend. It’s not at $35.8 MM worldwide gross at the time of this writing. I have to wonder if there’s gonna be a sequel because it made a lot more money than it cost to produce. We also launched our beauty site on Tuesday, FlauntMe. That’s #8 for those keeping count at home. Jinra and the Ningin Bloggers cranked out another special for that, the Ningin Tribute to Asian Beauty. Site #9, CrazySingleLife is due for unveiling this week. I just posted a short preview of it. Since things have been going really well here, we’re doubling the number of bloggers across our new sites. If you like writing, getting free stuff, having access to events, interviewing people, and working with fun people, then you should consider blogging for us! We have a lot more sites planned for next year too. More »

It’s safe to say that November, aka Ninja Month, was the most awesome month for Ningin yet. We had 4 specials - Ninja Thanksgiving, Japan-a-thon, Vampire Special, and Gaming Special. We had 4 site launches, Wirebot for gaming, Swandiary for Vampire entertainment, Rekuru for Japanese Entertainment, and most recently, FlauntMe for Beauty. We had some big interviews - Rain, Boom Boom Satellites, and Takeshi Kaneshiro. And course, tons of giveaways, SS501 album+poster, 4minute album+poster, Red Cliff Movie posters, Ninja Assassin Gear, and Xbox + Wii game sytems. There’s also about a dozen Ninja Assassin movie posters sitting here that needs to be given out…later though too many contests running right now! I’m sure I’m forgetting more stuff. But isn’t that kinda a lot?? I hope you guys enjoyed everything! Not sure if we can continue at this pace forever, but there’s still a lot more stuff on the way! More »

Ninja Month has come and gone, but the ninja-goodness has not ended. Last month, many people have entered to win our Ninja Assassin Giveaway of an assortment of Ninja Assassin gear. Today, I’m proud to announce the winners of the Ninja Assassin Giveaway! More »

It’s pretty hard to resist Rain’s body. I’m thinking Paris Hilton went to see the movie just to see Rain’s body. I mean, even though his English isn’t the best and he’s not the best looking guy in the world, he still has an amazing body with muscles popping out everywhere on his body. More »

Let me start with a funny story. I spent my Thanksgiving watching Ninja Assassin with my Korean cousins. We went in, and the theater was filled with Asians, mostly Koreans. My cousin, trying to be funny, yelled out,”Raise your hand if you are Korean.” Many of them should have raised their hand, but they didn’t. More »

What a week here on Ningin! It started with the Ninja Thanksgiving Special that we did with those ninja-holics on Wirebot and Rekuru. I had no idea we were gonna crank out so many ninja related posts — it was ninja-epic. Make sure to check all of it out if you haven’t! On Tuesday, I got to see Boom Boom Satellites in concert and it was awesome to say the least! On Wednesday, Ninja Assassin came out in theaters and Boom Boom Satellites came down to the Ningin office to hang out with us. It’s not everyday we have rock stars in our office, but it does seem to be more common now. The interview with BBS is schedule for tomorrow so be sure to check that out. We also got a few autographed stuff from them, so look out for that too. Then of course you have the Thanksgiving weekend where I ate till I passed out and had lots of catch-up sleep. What did you guys do for the holiday weekend? More »

Well my fellow Ninginites, I hope everyone had a great Ninja Thanksgiving. It seems like a handful of us had even more reason to be ninja-thankful this week with the results of the Ninja Assassin pin game. In true ninja-fashion, it was another movie that stealthily surprised us with its Rottentomatoes score. More »

From Wirebot:

Welcome back to another exciting installment of Games You’ve Probably Never Heard Of. This week (in honor of the release of Ninja Assassin) we take a look at some horrible ninja, assassin, and samurai games, from the world of Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo. More »

Trying to be a ninja without ninja supplies? If you are about to go shopping for ninja items, check this out! You’ll be thankful. More »

Lately, we’ve been reflecting a lot on the things in life that are most dear to us. Things in life we are most thankful for and things we genuinely appreciate. Given that it’s Thanksgiving week and it is still indeed, Ninja Month, we’ve all come to the conclusion that all of us at Ningin, Rekuru and Wirebot are thankful for the same thing: Ninjas. Believe it or not, ninjas happen to be our driving force in life. Key figures we look up to, even! We’re also very thankful for you. To express our gratitude, I present to you the Ninja Thanksgiving Special. More »

By now most of you know that we’ve giving out game systems to random users. That’s not the only contest going on either. We have Ninja Assassin Gear, Justin Chon autographs on SwanDiary, Swarovski iPhone faceplate on Girlybubble, and ESPN Magazine subscriptions on BlitzNation. If you think that’s a lot, it’s just the beginning! Soon, there will be some sort of regular prize for all our sites like Xbox/PSN point cards on Wirebot, bobblehead dolls on BlitzNation, and so on. If you’re in the city of Rhode Island (why call it a state?) Wirebot is hosting a Guitar Hero 3 Tournament and giving out $100 in Amazon gift certificates. Btw, have you checked out our new Ningin-spin off site for Japanese entertainment, Rekuru.com? Jinra and the Ningin bloggers are hosting a Japan-a-thon special in honor of its launch. Wirebot is going Japanese too. It’s fun when sister sites work together! Expect a lot more of that going forward. Last but not least, we have a cool interview with Takeshi Kaneshiro who’s starring in the new Red Cliff movie out right now. Speaking of movies, I hear Ninja Assassin is coming out this Wednesday. It’s in your best interest to check that out. More »

Maybe you saw this coming, or maybe I was extra ninja with this. Either way, we can’t have Ninja Month without having a pin game dedicated to Ninja Assassin. If you’ve stuck around for our Ninja Assassin review, interviews with Rain and Ninja Assassin director James McTeigue and our current Ninja Assassin giveaway, you probably know what Ninja Assassin is about. For those just clue-ing in, Ninja Assassin is about a young ninja (Rain) who turns his back on an orphanage that raised him, leading to a confrontation with a fellow ninja from the clan. The film is one of few that features an Asian male lead…who isn’t Jet Li or Jackie Chan! More »

What a week we had on Ningin! I think I might have mentioned this somewhere before, but I got to interview Rain and Director James McTeigue from the Ninja Assassin movie. If you haven’t read it yet, what are you waiting for? There’s not one but two giveaways for it…so far. First there’s the Ninja Assassin gear, and we’re giving our copies of the 28-page Ninja Assassin press junket package. Then we launched a new website, Swandiary, for vampire lovers. Jinra and the Ningin Bloggers put together a fun little Bloodsucker special for it. Speaking of Jinra, her b-day might have been during this past week. Not sure. But I’m sure she’s glad that someone (hint: he was in ninja a movie that’s coming out soon) remembered. So all that was last week. This week, we have another website, Rekuru - for Japanese entertainment, scheduled to launch. And perhaps finally, you’ll see the game system contest we’ve been promising. More »

The mighty, mega-international Hallyu crown officially belongs to Rain. They even called him the MICHAEL JACKSON of Asia. Dude, right? Our new leader has brought his fellow country citizens, and all of Asians, including Asian Americans to a new victory. This is really a first in a long time that a Korean star has made a huge debut in film, as the main star. Here Bi (pronounced BEE) is interviewing on national, non-cable TV station FOX, for the Good Day New York show. More »

In our hands are 10 Ninja Assassin press packets, just dying to be given away. As we mentioned in our Ninja Assassin movie review, a press packet is basically everything you’d ever possibly want to know about the film. E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G. As in 28 pages worth of factoids, quotes, news…it’s almost a Ninja Assassin bible. More »

Interviewing Director James McTeigue was a challenge of a different sort for me. I didn’t know much about him at first other than that he directed V for Vendetta, which so happens to be one of my favorite films. That’s the only movie that’s he directed prior to Ninja Assassin but he’s been part of the Wachowski’s team for a long time and he’s had a role in the making of Speed Racer as well. I’m starting to see a pattern of Wachowski, James McTeigue, and Rain. I hope those three combine to produce movies forever! More »
