From Ziggytek: NPD reports that for the first time in several years, Microsoft’s Xbox 360 has earned first place in the monthly gaming console sales rankings. The 360 moved 422,000 units. Meanwhile, over in Japan, Sony’s PSP go continues to be a disaster, with 3-month sales totals of only 17,618 handhelds. More »

Lots of things going on lately. First, I hope you guys enjoyed the wonderfully put together Halloween Special by Jinra and the Ningin Bloggers. Mixed within all of that is two great interviews of Harry Shum from Glee and my personal cosplay hero, Alodia Gosiengfiao. Then there’s the Wirebot - gaming community - expansion. The door was cracked open last week, but we’re going to make a big gaming push this week with tons of gaming related articles coming your away across the entire network starting tomorrow. And already it’s November 1st. November is going to be all about expansion as we’re looking to launch one new website a week. Yes you read that right, one website a week! From Ziggytek: Ahh the good times. That’s all Nintendo had up until last quarter. Now they’ve dipped to a tune of 66 percent. Nintendo announced in an earnings report that they’ve finally taken a hit, citing less demand for the Wii and stronger yen. More »

From Ziggytek: The Black Wii has finally arrived in Japan and looks absolutely stunning. The Wii looks like a stealth ninja. It brings back memories of when Apple first released their iPod video in black. I went nuts and ended up buying on. If Nintendo ever releases these in the States, I’ll definitely be getting on even though, I haven no reason to get a Wii. Crossing my fingers these come to the stats by the fall or during the holiday season. More »
