The first season of MLG Ladders has finished. It was a grueling 5 matches, 10 weeks long event. We saw many close victories and many teary-eyed defeats. One champion stood tall when the dust cleared, Mixr Users. No words can truly do justice to this historic moment. I’ll just get to the breakdowns: More »

I know I keep saying every round is pivotal in this Mixr League Gaming Ladder, but this time I really mean it! Ningin is on the verge of elimination thanks to weeks and weeks of domination by Mixr Users. It’ll take both a Ningin strong showing and Mixr Users collapse for Ningin to hang on. WireMe is also in danger of having this end for them as well if they have a poor showing. At the same time, Mixr Users can end this season with a dominating show of force… More »

This round wasn’t so much a 3-team slugfest, rather a 2-team duel between Mixr Users and WireMe. Some of Team Ningin decided to sit this one out and it cost them dearly - so much so that they are in 3rd place now and in danger of being eliminated in the next round. When the dust cleared, Mixr Users won this round again, by a 4 point margin over WireMe and ever so slightly increased their lead in the standings. A handful of new faces has entered the fray for team Mixr Users, joonieshoney, harmonixia, and PurpleChicken and their impact was enormous. Let’s get to the breakdowns: More »

And now, one of the moments you’ve been waiting for all day! In all corners of the flash game ring are 3 of the Mixr League Gaming’s strongest teams made up of the best flash game players, this side of the Mixr River. It is with great pleasure that I announce to you, the official game match-up roster for round 4 of MLG Season I. More »

MLG Ladders has been brutally competitive so far. After 3 rounds of competition, 9 points separates first and second; 3 points between second and third. Unfortunately we also saw the elimination of BlitzKuTek. They dropped so far behind that it was mathematically improbable that they would come back. Mixr Users took first this week again, but only by a margin of 2 points. WireMe finished second ahead of Ningin this time by one point. The competition is only going to get fiercer now that we’re moving past the halfway point. Whatever team can stand the pressure the best is going to ultimately be the winner. Let’s see the game by game results: More »

Another epic battle in the inaugural Mixr League Gaming Ladder concluded yesterday. While the nations under the Mixr banner put up a good fight, the elite team of Mixr Users ended up being the ones that were victorious. And it wasn’t particularly close as Mixr Users scored 28 out of a possible 36 points. Team Ningin kept it somewhat close with a string of 2nd place finishes and getting 25 points. This round was not meant for WireMe and BlitzKuTek as they got 18 and 17, respectively. On to the details: More »

Only half way through Round II of MLG Season I and already we know who the stars are of this round! Speaking of stars, if you can imagine me speaking with a southern accent, I’d be saying this: “Oh my stars! Looks like Ningin is in the lead based on who the top scorers are!” …but I don’t have an accent. Here are the current top scorers holding it down for their respective teams: More »

Boy what an intense weekend of flash gaming! Going into this I really didn’t think the teams were all that balanced. With only three total points separating the first and last team, it seems we have some real competition. WireMeis first getting a 24 out of a possible 36 points. Team Mixr Users is second trailing by just one point. BlitzKuTek is not far behind, trailing by 2 points. Ningin, the once dominant team heading into this tournament, is surprisingly last trailing WireMe by 3. Let’s get to the breakdowns: More »
